Backpacker Insurance & Finance

Now we know you may think that insurance and finance are pretty boring subjects and that rather than spending some of your hard earned readies on covering your backside, you would much rather be spending your money on beer and seeing the world! Before dismissing it all out of hand however, just spare a thought for some of the things that may (heaven forbid) go wrong whilst you are at large in the big wide world. For instance, suppose you happen to feel ill in the tropics or get a very bad case of galloping gut rot due to over indulging on the local cuisine. Worse still, what happens if you have an accident whilst trying out some new activity or sport, or that some undesirable oik takes a liking to your personal belongings and half-hinches them while you're asleep? Having the right insurance before heading off backpacking is an ABSOLUTE MUST, as is making sure that you have plenty of access to cash and that your credit cards are readily accepted. Believe us (we know, because we've been there and done it!) there is nothing worse than being stranded in the absolute back of beyond with hitch-hiking being your only way out! So please heed our advice and don't leave anything to chance.
